WMS Solutions Architect

CJ Logistics is seeking a Solutions Architect to be the functional and technical backbone of our Warehouse Management Systems team. This high-impact role is crucial for maximizing customer value by integrating advanced technology and driving continuous improvement.

Your Mission: Design, Deliver, Drive Value
As the lead technical/functional consultant, you'll orchestrate the entire lifecycle of our WMS solutions, ensuring they directly meet and exceed complex customer and business requirements.
- Lead the Design: Drive the design, optimization, and implementation of WMS solutions utilizing industry best practices and process methodologies. You'll apply deep domain knowledge to configure systems (Blue Yonder, Korber, Manhattan, etc.) for optimal performance.
- Act as Functional Liaison: Serve as the crucial link between customers, Project Managers, Technical Consultants, and 3rd Party consultants to guarantee timely and successful delivery.
- Solve Complex Problems: Analyze business needs that fall outside the standard scope, determining integration complexity, architecture constraints, and product roadmaps to leverage standard functionality while minimizing costly customizations.
- Integrate Technology: Design and implement integrated solutions with our TES teams, leveraging middleware, WCS, Automation, and small parcel concepts to add measurable value for our customers.
- Ensure Stability: Guide system integration, UAT, and deployment phases. You'll also provide Level 3 architectural support for WMS solutions and lead technical/functional upgrade projects.
- Mentor & Influence: Technically mentor and coach team members, fostering a high-performing environment.
What You'll Bring:
- 15+ years of specific experience working within Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- 5+ years of consulting experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong technical acumen of leading WMS platforms (e.g., Blue Yonder, Korber, Manhattan) and hands-on implementation experience.
- Proficiency in designing, configuring, and deploying complex supply chain planning solutions.
- Deep understanding of supply chain, logistics, and distribution functional concepts.
- Exceptional business analysis skills, including the understanding and usage of statistical algorithms and inventory optimization concepts.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver presentations to executive-level audiences.
- The ability to travel up to 30% to client and warehouse locations.
- A degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Engineering is preferred.
